These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Rootd app, operated by Colorful Aura Inc. ("we," "us"). By downloading or using Rootd, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Rootd is for general information and education only. It is not medical, nutritional, or health advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional. Food scores, ingredient explanations, and lessons are general and may not fit your individual needs. Always consult a doctor or registered dietitian about your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are caring for a child.
Do not rely on Rootd alone for allergies or intolerances. Ingredient and allergen information can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong — some of it is community-contributed. Always read the actual product packaging and contact the manufacturer if you have a serious allergy. We are not responsible for any reaction, illness, or harm resulting from reliance on the app.
You must be at least 18 years old — old enough to form a binding agreement — to accept these Terms and use Rootd. Rootd is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. When you create an account we ask for your date of birth to confirm this.
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Don't misuse Rootd — for example, don't try to break or disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, submit harmful or false content, or use it to violate any law or others' rights.
Product data, scores, and ingredient details may be sourced from third parties or other users and may contain errors. We don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information in the app.
If you submit content (such as product corrections, photos, or feedback), you grant us a license to use it to operate and improve Rootd, including adding non-identifying product information to a shared database.
Rootd, including its design, content, and branding, is owned by Colorful Aura Inc. and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose.
Rootd is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colorful Aura Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from your use of — or reliance on — the app.
You can stop using Rootd and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you use Rootd from outside the United States, you may also be entitled to mandatory consumer protections under the laws of your home country, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
